I just noticed that too. I might suggest an app called Fogger, that I recently discovered (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/... ). It's basically webapp windows with a handful of integrated features - and they don't do any kinds of weird things in the launcher.

This doesn't work for me anymore! When clicking my calendar or docs icon a new chromium icon gets activated in unity, not the one I'm clicking as
before. It still works for my gmail icon though... Has something changed
lately in Unity?

Compiling problems tend to be very subjective, so with what you've told me I can't really help. Generally I find googling the error, with or without the program name, is the best solution.

yes i'm a debian users and i compile sometimes programs
i follow your informations.i download all packets and dependancies to compile itit's doesn't worki have lot of probleme with tar command in process and compilation stop after one hour with a "make" errorcan you post me a mini tutorial of how you make the compilation please ?

I did it by adding a new entry to the changelog (necessary to sign the package), and then compiling it with "debuild". Be warned, it took about 3.5 hours and completely 100%'d the processor.

There's only one problem with this: external links in the webapp open in this different version of Chromium. Any way to ensure all links open in the default profile?

Actually, good news! I did a bunch of digging last night, and I managed to find a copy of the latest version. I don't know how I missed it or how the copy I moved to my new installed got corrupted, but whatever.

I'm afraid that a few days after posting this, I had an accident while copying data and lost the latest version of the code. I have older backups, but I dropped the project for some time because I really wasn't up to a week or two of duplicated efforts. That being said, it's been long enough that I feel up to working on it some more.

I made the widgets, though calling them "widgets" is very generous. They're quite simple, and as of yet have to be set up manually (toguh everything else does at this point). My next goals will be making widgets more modular and simple to make, and creating some sort of GUI for making/removing/moving panes.

I assume you know that you can look at JoliCloud OS for inspiration on how to use the nickel-browser.

Do you create all widget things yourself? Is there any grand plan on where to bring this?

Thanks! Very useful, I was really frustrated before I found this.

I've noticed that starting Google docs with --app really doesn't makes sense. As soon as you open a document a new window of Chromium opens. I want all documents and the docs start page in the same window.

I really miss the tabs in app mode! Do you know of a way to either get tabs in app mode or get rid of the address bar in normal mode?
